What nice wedding photos Sue... so different from the norm... very relaxed. I shot weddings for years...over 600 of them, Lugging around an RB67 with the eyelevel viewfinder and a Lumidine strobe.. Very heavy :/

YES, the cake is very nice!!! It is a creation of a Key West shop her. My wedding couple organized that, not me.

I'm rather taken with that cake, too! It's the simplicity of the iced cake itself, I think, in contrast with those glorious flowers. A good subject for your lovely photographs (but now I want to be eating cake on a tropical beach!) ;)

Hi Jen / domestika

I think your cake will be melting on the beach - it's just HOT in paradise! But we have also great Ice cream too...smile...

Thanks for commenting to my blog and I'm happy you like my photography!

Going to a wedding tomorrow. Big and expensive. Mine was of the Quaker variety, in a garden - we married ourselves 20 minutes of silence... 3 minutes of vows...30 minutes of silence!...everyone brought a dish. Friend took photos - a "no cost" wedding :-D Your photos are great if you had been around I would of splurged and figured a way to hire you!

Thanks for your nice comment,Danny!

I LOVE to do weddings out of the "norm". I always try to reflect THAT special moments of love in my pictures. In big and "glitty" weddings is THAT moment missed out so often, because of so many outside influences like time, not relaxed peoples, too big programs made, wedding planners...:-))

the cake looks great and it is a quite different design.

It's a very elegant and tropical design, made by a cake factory in Key West!
